New Turbocharger for Volkswagen Diesel 96-99. It will work for early TDI engines (1Z and AHU).
The first picture shows the turbo in the most common configuration where the intake of the turbo faces down. This is a universal turbo in that you can rotate the intake housing to face either up or down.
There are holes drilled and tapped for the wastegate actuator in either the up or down configuration. There are also holes drilled and tapped for the intake pipe mounting bolts.
Good for MTDI Projects.
We can make the turbo with the intake facing up, if you contact us. Otherwise, the intake will point down, as in pic1. The turbo is universal and can be assembled with the intake facing up or down, without replacing any parts.
