New K04 Turbo for 1996-1998 VW Passat TDI and Jetta TDI (96-99.5). This is a much larger turbo than the original T15 or K03 turbo that came with the TDI. The intake output is a full 1/2 inch larger than the T15! This is not for 1.8t engines.
If you have chip tuning and want to experiment with larger injectors or a larger fuel pump, this turbo will make a big difference. This turbo will bolt up to your exhaust manifold, exhaust system, and oil lines just like your current turbo does.
Pic 3 and Pic4 show the 2 installation positions I know of for the TDI turbos. Most of the North American engines I have seen have the cold section of the turbo pointing down. Comes with a 1 year warranty.
